Lectures and workshops
A powerful tool to transform a reality is to inspire people to think and act differently. We do this through lectures and hands-on workshops that explore methodologies and concepts that guide our way of working: we discuss design and planning strategies that support more inclusive, resilient and healthy cities; we share the story of the “active design” concept and talk about the relationship between built environment, health and climate change in Brazilian cities; we bring innovative ways of observing and analyzing the shape of cities and the use of public spaces; we cover participatory processes and tools for community engagement.
We use our practice and our projects as a laboratory for new ideas and, therefore, we take this experience as a starting point for debates with different audiences, such as students; technical city staff; health, architecture, engineering, economics, sociology experts, among others.
